Leopold Haverl vas a Slovak actor, reciter and dubber. He studied acting at the ODK at the State Conservatory in Bratislava and after them worked in various theaters. In 1968 he became a member of drama the Slovak National Theatre. In theater often he created a characterful and dramatically extreme characters. In 1980, he is given the title of Merited Artist. In 2006, he won the Crystal Wing for lifetime achievement, as well as Jozef Kroner Award for lifetime acting work. The same year he received the Pribina Cross First Class for his life-long cultural work, a high-ranked state award from then president Ivan Gasparovic.

In 1968 he became a member of drama the Slovak National Theatre. In theater often he created a characterful and dramatically extreme characters. In 1980, he is given the title of Merited Artist. In 2006, he won the Crystal Wing for lifetime achievement, as well as Jozef Kroner Award for lifetime acting work. The same year he received the Pribina Cross First Class for his life-long cultural work, a high-ranked state award from then president Ivan Gasparovic.
In recent years, he focused mainly to playing TV series and dubbing. His voice lent example Albus Dumbledore in the Harry Potter films and Gandalf from LoTR.
